Last month, we started an outreach on Fridays to guys who love to play soccer. We have come alongside of students who had a desire to play indoor soccer, many of whom are international students. After 45 minutes of playtime, the group gathers around and listens to someone share what God wants them to relay to these young men. They have heard about the gift of Jesus Christ around Christmas time, God’s love, and being blessed by living your life for God. Some weeks we have seen reactions of sarcasm, and others weeks attentive listening. By God’s grace, we are allowed to share each week truth from the scriptures and testimony of God’s goodness and love. The word of God is being planted and will not come back void.
